The train departs from Monday to Friday at 7:15 AM from the Corozal Passenger Terminal in Panama City. Departure from Colon Atlantic Passenger Station is at 5:15 PM.

Step out the Colon Atlantic Passenger Station. You can either rent a taxi to Portobelo or take public transportation.
If you are on a budget, we recommend taking a taxi to the Colon Bus Terminal and take a bus to Portobello. In fact, the bus terminal is within walking distance but for safety reasons, we believe a taxi is more convenient.
A taxi ride from Colon to Portobelo should take you about 1 hour. In contrast, considering the many stops the bus will make, it would take around 1:30 hours.
